Crawford Notch Waterfall Elopement
Elisa & Keegan are from Canada, and prior to their elopement have never traveled to New England. They fell in love with the scenery of the White Mountains and they knew they wanted to make it official there. They invited all of their closest family from thousands of miles away to join them on a summer time White Mountain Adventure elopement.
The day of their elopement was unseasonably chilly for August. Fall color began to slowly creep in combining effortlessly with those beautiful deep summer hunter green hues I’ve always been in love with. When I arrived at their rental home I was greeted by the most chilled out couple and family I could ever imagine. Everyone was kind, loving, and downright hilarious. After getting ready we all ventured into the forest at the beautiful Moose Lodge property for a first look followed by a short drive to the trail where we hiked a short ways to the waterfall. With a drought, there wasn’t as much water as normal at Gibbs Falls - a waterfall a short way down the Crawford Path. It actually helped everyone find a bit more standing room at the end of the day and the forest surrounding us was quiet and peaceful.
Once married the couple and their family went on more adventures as one happy unit together throughout Crawford Notch and until the sun set.
