Your wedding day is defined by you! If you’re here you are probably a couple with a thirst for adventure and a passion for the great outdoors. You also dream of a wedding with all of your closest friends and family present. I am a documentary styled photographer. What does that mean? To start my style is laid-back, candid, and most importantly, FUN!
I capture you in your element doing what you two love the most as a couple. In addition to all of those amazing photos of the two of you enjoying your day, I’ll also help you coordinate your adventure to fit in perfectly with your wedding day. There’s no adventure too big for me (or at least I have yet to encounter one). We’ll hike at sunrise, mountain bike in your favorite trails, ski down the slopes near sunset, and even go on a kayaking adventure in the ocean with you! That’s all optional of course, but if you say adventure, I am here for it.

Before your wedding I’ll be here to help you plan, from the big things like the timeline, to the little details you want captured! On your wedding day, I’ll zip your dress, pin your boutonniere, and make sure you’re bursting with excitement as you marry your partner.

A few things I live and breathe…
1.
While I have a dictionary of prompts designed to make you look amazing, I prefer capturing your day in a candid, documentary style as the events unfold.
2.
My greatest love is nature. I am a Leave No Trace (LNT) photographer. My goal is to run my business in the most sustainable way possible. I do not use smoke bombs, confetti, or have any practices which may disturb plant or wildlife, and practice outdoor wilderness ethics religiously.
I love educating others about environmental sustainability when questions arise! Feel free to contact us if you would like to learn more about how you can be the best steward of the outdoors.

I’m all about keeping it real. When I edit your photos, I preserve the beautiful colors which surrounded you during your day. I won’t make anything appear overly golden or extremely desaturated. I want your photos to be as magical as the moment we captured them, so I obsess over each photo and hand-calibrate them until everything is “just right”.

FAQ
Have you photographed a wedding at my venue before?
Over the years I have photographed dozens of weddings and elopements in almost every lighting scenario you can imagine! Sunrises, sunsets, downpours, snowstorms, night time, harsh daylight, dark rooms, indoor natural light, and even solar eclipses. The important thing here is that no matter your venue I am confident in capturing your day no matter the lighting!

How do you back up the photos you take?
From the moment a photo is captured on my camera it is already back up! I have dual memory card slots in all cameras and require the same of 2nd photographers. The moment I get home from your wedding day the photos are uploaded to two hard drives, then the edited photos are backed up in cloud storage.
How do we book you for our wedding?
Before we book your date, I’ll have you reach out by clicking the button below or visiting the “hire me” page on this site! I’ll confirm I’m available, and we’ll set up a time to get to know each other better.
After you decide to book me, I’ll send you a contract and invoice for a 30% retainer fee. When the contract is signed and the retainer fee is paid we’re official!
Do I get printing rights to my photos?
This is a super important questions to ask, so you don’t have surprise costs after your gallery is delivered.
The answer in my case is yes, you get full printing right to your photos! That means you are allowed to print your photos through either my printer or any printer of your choice at no extra cost.
Do you have travel fees?
I split my time between Colorado & New England!
For weddings in Colorado & New England there are no additional travel fees during the months I am already there. It’s already included in your wedding package! For more information on where I’m going to be and when, check out my travel schedule!
Outside of these areas I have flat travel inclusive fees for the US and worldwide.
Are you okay with pets?
Definitely. I’ve worked with dozens of dogs, horses, cats, and other pets. Your fur baby will be treated with the upmost love and probably a few treats from me!
That being said, make sure you assign a person to look after your furry kids on your wedding day when they aren’t in photos!
Cortney & Ryan planned to have all 120 of their guests hike an easy 1/2 mile trail to their wedding ceremony in May in New Hampshire. It was a cooler day in the 50s which was just right for the nature walk at Geneva Point Center.
